Per the Alberta Government Workplace Guidance for Business Owners, Pinheads’ Strategy to maintain a safe retail environment is below.
Distancing Measures: Pinheads may be required to limit the store capacity to avoid overcrowding, but will continue to offer curbside pickup and online fulfillment.
Cleaning: Pinheads will clean all high-touch surfaces regularly and at the end of each business day. This includes but is not limited to point of sale terminals, door handles, and hard surfaces. As customers are required to use hand sanitizer as they enter the store, we will not be removing soft surfaces from the sales floor.
Screening for Symptoms: We serve a diverse group of people, many of whom could be vulnerable to COVID-19. We invite you to take advantage of our on-line store or curbside fulfillment if you are displaying symptoms or are generally feeling unwell. We will do what is reasonably possible to fulfill your order, but ask that you don’t enter the store.
Personal Protective Equipment: Because we are unable to maintain a 2-meter distance between customers and staff at all areas within our store, we will require customers to wear masks. Please put on your own mask before entering the store. Customers who are unable to provide a mask will not be allowed to enter. Hand sanitation stations will be set up at both door entrances for customers to use.
Responsibility: It will be the responsibility of the owners of Pinheads to ensure our shopping environment is a safe environment for our customers and staff.
